STEPHANIE PURCELL

Client Services Director

Stephanie's attention to detail and fun-loving personality brings people together. When researching the perfect speaker or performer for an event, she looks for someone who can deliver both the right message and mood for that audience. She understands that to bring people together you have to spark their passion.

Stephanie's personal passion is bringing people together with music. With a professional life and social life that seamlessly blends, Stephanie spends much of her downtime checking out live performances, discovering interesting new talent to add to the LimeLight roster. Stephanie's deep knowledge of the east coast music scene is an invaluable asset at the event planning table. When she isn't in the audience, you'll probably find her strumming a guitar and jamming with her musician friends just don't expect her to get on stage! She's forged close friendships with many artists and takes great pride in watching their careers grow under her care. In fact, these artists nominated her for Music Nova Scotia Booking Agent of the Year in 2009, 2010 and she was thrilled to take home the award at the 2011 awards ceremony. She also received a nomination in 2010 and 2011 as Music Nova Scotia Industry Professional of the Year. With Stephanie at your service, you can be sure that your event will sing (or dance, or get a laugh, or inspire.) After discussing and brainstorming with you, she carefully selects several options from musical or talent genres that fit your events theme, objectives and desired results. You will receive all the information, guidance and advice you need to create a spectacular, unique live experience for your guests - and leave them wanting more!

Stephanie obtained her professional training at the Nova Scotia Community College in Halifax, graduating from the Advanced Diploma program with Honours in Public Relations. Stephanie also holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Fine Art from St. Francis Xavier University. This year, she was elected to the board of the Halifax Pop Explosion, celebrating its 20th Anniversary in 2012. Stephanie also manages Old Blood, a rock alternative band emerging on the east coast music scene.
