Opening new markets for LimeLight in Western Canada, Brenda Smith brings 24 years experience in the area of marketing, communications and event planning. Having spent many of these years client side- where she booked speakers and entertainers for a number of organizations, Brenda understands the nuances of finding the perfect speaker or entertainer for any event.

A graduate of the Grant McEwan Community College Advertising and Public Relations program, Brenda has been recognized as a leader in the communications sector winning a Gold Quill Award from the International Association of Business Communicators for a Community Relations program she developed for Telus.

Brenda has been a trainer for Anderson Career Training Institute for over six years, and has helped over 1000 new entrepreneurs navigate through the ever challenging task of marketing and starting a new business.

Over the past three years Brenda has worked with the Compassion House Foundation and played a significant role in the management and execution of the the foundations annual fundraising even, Fashion with Compassion which raised over $550,000 for the Foundation and Sorrentinos Compassion House.

An active volunteer, Brenda chaired the Relay for Life in Sherwood Park, Alberta for two years raising over $400,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society. She also spends time as a mentor for the Canadian Youth Business Foundation.
