"Our first annual PwC Women In Leadership event held September 29th was well received and exceeded our expectations. Nancy Regan hosted the event and facilitated a panel discussion of various women in leadership. Our panelists were Kim Mason, Regional President, Atlantic Provinces of RBC Royal Bank, Adrienne Powers, Canadian Olympic Athlete and Monica Banting, PwC, Senior Manager of Women In Leadership. Nancy was able to tap into the personalities of our panelists and engage in personal and frank conversations of challenges and successes in their professional and personal lives. She also incorporated some of her own experiences on the topic which helped to facilitate the panel discussion. She took the time to research the panelists beforehand so she could be knowledgeable on their backgrounds and thus ask pertinent questions. She did a fantastic job of creating the informal atmosphere we were aiming for and in allowing everyone to feel comfortable in asking questions. She was able to deal very well with the impromptu nature of a panel discussion and appropriately transition one topic to another in a natural way. Nancy took the time to meet with us beforehand to understand our goals for the event and made several suggestions that the committee appreciated. You could tell she really cared about the event and the topic which made for a great success. We would love to have Nancy back every year to host our event."
