Doug's passion for learning and transformation led him to found L(earn)² in 1989. As lead program designer, he helps people transform their lives through learning. Graduates of his trainings revolutionize their organizations by applying their new skills in their companies and converting the power of learning into the power of earning.
Doug's clients come from around the world and include American Express, the Canadian Government, and General Electric. He has received the Stephen E. Lyons Memorial Award, the Ontario Youth Achievement Award, a Kraft design award, and four Canadian Training Excellence Awards. Doug earned a degree in Business Administration and is working to complete an M.A. in Education.
Bolger began by enlisting clients for training programs designed by professors at Wilfrid Laurier University in the Kitchener-Waterloo area of Ontario, and later York University in north Toronto. Greater opportunity began knocking in the downtown core of the Greater Toronto Area about 1997, which was when the company re-branded L(earn)².
Much of the atmosphere of the fun and "interactive" l(earn)ing that L(earn)² provides has as much to do with an unforced kind of self-revelation - of both personal approaches and corporate styles - as it does with learning the nuts and bolts of dealing with outside problems. But if there is one primary constant and signature element of L(earn)², it is the "immersive environment" that encourages it.
The lesson of the L(earn)² training group is that experiential l(earn)ing leads to exponential earning.
